Free Parking for Barrie Memorial Hospital Clients!

The Foundation’s mission has always been to collect donations or bequests to help Barrie Memorial Hospital better fulfill its mission of providing care and health services to the population. In line with this mission, the Foundation worked to establish an agreement with the CISSSMO (Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie Ouest) to offer free parking for clients in the lot located in front of the Hospital. An annual amount of $25,000 is provided to the CISSSMO to cover the maintenance costs of approximately 60 parking spaces. This includes snow removal, line painting, lighting, signage, and necessary repairs to the parking lot and access roads. This agreement began in January 2018 for a period of five years and has been a great success!
