Third Golf Tournament Raises $55,000!

THE THIRD EDITION OF THE GOLF TOURNAMENT IN SUPPORT OF THE BARRIE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION RAISED AN IMPRESSIVE $55,000! Ormstown, June 3, 2014 – Kicking off the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of Barrie Memorial Hospital, the third edition of the golf tournament in support of the Barrie Memorial Hospital Foundation was a resounding success. Held on May 30, the event raised $55,000 to purchase cardiac monitoring equipment for the intensive care unit. The fundraiser took place at the Saint-Anicet Golf Club, attracting 101 golfers and 132 guests for the dinner. Mr. Yves Léveillé, General Manager of the Caisse Desjardins du Haut-Saint-Laurent, along with Mr. Michel Hohuu and Mr. Danh Nguyen from Familiprix Pharmacy in Ormstown, were proud to serve as honorary presidents for the event. Mrs. Madeleine Greig, President of the Barrie Memorial Hospital Foundation, was joined by (from left to right) Mr. Yves Parent, Interim General Manager of the CSSS du Haut-Saint-Laurent, Mr. Yves Léveillé, General Manager of the Caisse Desjardins du Haut-Saint-Laurent, and Mr. Olivier Pham and Mr. Denis Thibaudeau from Familiprix Pharmacy in Ormstown. The Barrie Memorial Hospital Foundation, a steadfast presence in the community that financially supports the hospital to continuously improve access to quality services, extends heartfelt thanks to all participants and donors for their generous contributions to this fundraiser.
